Life-skills training and workshops to impart basic social and live skills to young women
We develop and execute life-skills workshops that are custom-tailored to the needs of the organization we are partnering with. We help participants activate a broader vision for their life and understand how to navigate toward independent success, including: self-care, financial literacy, eating habits, and family bonding. While many mistake these skills as those that can be learned incidentally, we understand that they must be expressly taught, communicated and supported.
We provide counselling services to young women who need to rebuild their lives after escaping abusive lives. We believe that by providing young women with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they can achieve great things and make a positive impact on the world.
We embrace vision boards and art workshops as an opportunity for young women to explore their potential in healthy and meaningful ways. They empower young women to dream and start envisioning positive and productive outcomes based on quality life-style choices.
My Sister’s Keeper United eliminates the illusion that everyday skills fall under the incidental learning category. The organization tackles life-skills head on that can foster healthy, capable, independent living.
The Missing Link Initiative is a plan and process designed to help young people regain stability by providing foundational steps.
